(2 awards of $1000) Innovative Senior Scholarship will be given to two CHS students demonstrating an innovative idea, initiative, or project they completed while at CHS.

(3 awards of $500) Shooting for the Stars Scholarship for three CHS students who have demonstrated resilience and perseverance in overcoming obstacles during their CHS experience.

(2 awards of $500) Making a Difference Scholarship for two CHS students who have a passion for improving their community and impacting the lives of others.

(1 award of $500) Joe Kircher Scholarship. will be awarded to a CHS graduate who valued their experience at Elkins Park School and demonstrated leadership, service, or strong character while there.

(1 award of $500) Barry Brucker Memorial Scholarship The Brucker family offers this scholarship in Mr. Brucker’s memory to a student who demonstrates perseverance and a commitment to helping others.

(2 awards of $500) Learning Journey Scholarship will be awarded to two students who can demonstrate how they dealt with a learning challenge or difficulty and worked to improve their academic paths at CHS.

(1 award of $500) G.R.I.T. Scholarship for a student who demonstrates Growth, Resiliency, Independence, and Tenacity in what they have accomplished as a student at CHS, as a graduate of the Skills for Life Program, and in planning for what they want to do next year.

(1 award of $500) The Scholarship for Student Activism. This scholarship will be awarded to a CHS student who has participated in social activism within their community. The student should share how they have worked to cause political, environmental, economic, or social change.

(2 awards of $1000) The Wm. David Webb Memorial Scholarship. Dave Webb served on the Cheltenham School Board during the late 60’s and early 70’s. His belief that education is the path to so many of life’s blessings was deeply held. He lived out this belief in many ways, not the least of which was his service to the Cheltenham school community. This scholarship is intended to benefit two students who are committed to furthering their life goals through higher education.

(3 awards of $1000) The Green Apple Scholarship. A family in our Cheltenham community is funding this scholarship to proudly support three First Generation College attendees. Applicants should be the first in their families to be on their way to a community college, college, or university.

(1 award of $500) Avalon Foundation PBL Award. This scholarship is presented to a senior who has been in the PBL cohort for a minimum of two years (including senior year) and has demonstrated exceptionality in these areas: collaboration, leadership, empathy, design thinking, intellectual curiosity, and creating beautiful work.

(1 award of $500) The Morgan Feona Powell Scholarship. This scholarship is made to honor the eternal light in Morgan. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a self-identifying female Cheltenham High School graduating senior who can demonstrate their appreciation for the power of words by composing an original poem of no fewer than twenty lines which sheds a necessary light on an urgent and present-day issue that impacts them on a personal level. Contestants will be required to deliver their original poems in front of a small panel of teacher judges from Cheltenham’s English Department.

(1 award of $500) The Michelle Bellamy Memorial Scholarship. Michelle Bellamy was a valued member of the Cheltenham Education Foundation, serving as Vice President and the inaugural chair of the Scholarship Committee. She worked diligently to share her love of STEM with young women. To celebrate her life, this scholarship will be awarded to a female student who plans to pursue studies in STEM-related disciplines.

(2 awards of $500) The TVA Scholarship. This scholarship is aimed at supporting students who are planning to pursue technical, vocational, or apprenticeship programs after graduation. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who are passionate about acquiring practical skills in a specific trade, vocational, or technical field. Applicants are required to provide information about their intended program and goals for attendance.

(1 award of $500) Entrepreneur Spirit Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to start their own businesses. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to budding entrepreneurs, helping them turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures. Applicants are required to demonstrate their creativity, business acumen, and commitment to making a positive impact through their business endeavors.

This award is designed to empower students to achieve their academic aspirations and pave the way for a successful future.
